According to the Washington Post Cuban President Raul Castro considers Pope Francis so impressive that he may return to the Church. This would be an impressive achievement by the Pontiff; the conversion of a godless heathen. Castro's quote in the Post however is not so hopeful, "If the Pope continues this way, I will go back to praying and go back to the Church and I am not joking." This suggests that it is the Pope's materialist leftist leanings that are impressing Castro rather than his preaching of the Ultimate Truth and Good News.
I hope to be proven wrong on this one and that the Pope indeed affects a conversion and repentance.
